Hi I’m Kelsey Linnartz, the artist of LinnArtzy,
The brand name “LinnArtzy” comes from my last name Linnartz, and a constant compliment, “you are so artsy.”
LinnArtzy is about growing up, but not growing out of the creativity and playfulness of the young artist within. I was only thirteen when I began selling LinnArtzy headbands and bows at a Boutique in Fort Worth Texas! Never afraid of putting myself out there and giddy whenever someone else loves what I make as much as I do.
This brand is intertwined with my inner child and an entrepreneur spirit that began way before I went to college (where I studied Apparel Design and Manufacturing at Texas Tech University) and way before I bravely moved to NYC to pursue my fashion design dreams.
During a challenging time in the world, and in my life (the year-2020 need I say more?!) I started LinnArtzy again, like an old friend, but grown up, changing handmade hair accessories for art and thoughtfully designed greeting cards. I am passionate about equipping you to encourage those you love, in a time we need it now more than ever. In 2021, LinnArtzy caught the attention of the local news channel and products soon carried in 25 female owned boutiques around the country and featured pop ups at Anthropologie.
LinnArtzy, It’s about celebrating the moments of joy and brightening dark moments in life. where fashion illustration meets calligraphy with an intentional emphasis on encouragement, connection and creativity. I love drawing live illustrations of guests at private parties and brand activations for brands such as Alice + Olivia, Ramy Brook, Adobe, Staud, Bumble, and Hilton… (to name a few!) I was honored to be hired as an in-house artist at Golden Goose, customizing luxury sneakers for clients for over a year.
I am so honored to have the opportunity to do LinnArtzy full time serving talented teams with my love for people and expertise in hand lettering and live sketching and creating beautiful products. I know 13 year old Kelsey would be so proud, and not surprised at all that she’s drawing celebrities and traveling to cool places to work with amazing brands. Imposter syndrome who? We’ve never heard of that!!!
As for you, dear reader, thank you for being here. If we met in my hometown, Fort Worth, TX or at a brand event in NYC, or through one of my viral tiktoks, I’m glad you are here and hope you stick around. I would love to draw at your next event or ship you your new favorite addition to your gallery wall.
Anyways, I’m probably doodling in the margins of my journal or dancing to my favorite playlist on my way to my next event, talk to ya later!
xo
Kelsey
